Re: Bristol Shubunkins

Dear Jennifer,

Actually Bristol Shubunkins originated from Bristol, UK.For good quality, Bristol is the place.

But there are quite a few who keep Bristol Shubunkins in the USA. If you look hard enough, you probably will get decent specimens.

Re: Aquarama 2015 - Open Class

But the Cat B Jikin looks like Japanese Jikins abit...its has the " Deep body"... .and very well splayed tail too..but need to go back to its family tree. There are some Chinese breeders that did not cross their Jikins with Wakins. But i do not what do they look like.

Re: Aquarama 2015 - Open Class

Hi, Regarding the jikins, i feel that most hobbyists and sellers would refer to the tail only. This is wrong. The body of a wakin would be slightly curved downwards towards the tail and the tail would be well spread horizontally like a tvr tail. I have contacted a friend who imports Japanese Jikins ...

Re: Breeding Season 2015

hi uncle kit,

nice breeding you have there..the "kudou"-like piece is really good...i like the head and the peduncle along with its tail. Looks like you are active in many foums popularising tvrs. :)

Re: Aquarama 2015 - Oranda

hi again, Yes, the oranda was imported from Thailand and groomed by my friend Colin Chin and his team members. Believe it or not, these guys were "betta" people before they venture in to the goldfish world. Although i know his method, but yes will try to have a chat with him about his grooming style...

Re: Aquarama 2015 - Oranda

Hi, Regarding the GC, i am a friend of the Groomer of the fish. I totally agree with you bro Steven and i am as well shocked and happy when i know about its victory. I presumed that it can get a placing but did not expect it will be the GC. Nonetheless, its distinct characteristics and uniqueness is...
