Wait a min, nankin? Is it a cross between Ryukin and Ranchu? Got pics?

Neo, I have seen this pic from another thread.
It's a nice fish! :)
Do you have a side view pic of it to better show the back curve?

I looked up on nankin. Apparently, it's very difficult to acquire and it's only for very experienced keeper.

Hmmm..... based on my experience, they seems quite easily to keep. In fact, not difficult at all as far as I remember.

If u or any one matters, i am pretty sure u can keep them well. It is like keep ryukin in a Japanese ranchu style.

No headgrowth to concern, no back curve to judge. The only thing is that the body shape should take the form of the pear.

You made a very fair statement.
Keeping GF is no rocket science.
One needs to have:
1. Interest - research, read up on do's and don'ts.
2. Time - General maintenance and WC (very important)
3. Dedication - Observe, spot irregularities and take corrective action(s) early. Identify best practice that works for your fish, stick to the right formula and maintain the consistency.
4. $ to maintain this hobby! :)

Nice fish. I like the proportionally smaller tail on Ranchus.
