Post by goldenswimmers » Wed Jan 25, 2012 11:39 am

hello all
I have one ranchu(I am confident she is a girl) and she has become very slow..not mocving at all plus she has a very swollen anus..I am worried she will pass away if I dont do something about the problem soon...I am worried either she has swallowed something while outside in the pond...stick,etc...Is this possoble???....or that she is having problems passing eggs and is now clogged up!?!?!?!
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

that is not good...do you think peas etc might help make stomach issues better?..and maybe this could help her?..is there a known laxative that can be used for freshwater fish?..i would try something that "loosens" up the stomach a bit if it is available :(

For egg binding, the only known method I know is to use Epsom salt and heat.
