Post by tangbp » Thu Feb 07, 2013 7:11 pm

hi all
out of sudden my fish sudden not moving and mostly floating on the surface of water
the below stomach is bloody red in color, i suspect is parasite
i heard from some expert best to remove biohomme plus and just put coralships and japanese mat and some momotaro will do
is it true?
the expert told me theres 2 type of gold fish the cheap one and the expensive one, the cheap one normally can survive due to
they are use to poor quality water and quite hardy fish but for expensive ranchu is different.

We don't differentiate goldfish by price, but by their type. Single tail goldfish is known to be more hardy than the fancy double tail type, and goldfish with special features like wen, pearl, bubbles are more sensitive.

I think you have a water maintenance issue, how often you change water and do you feed alot?
