My Cheetah brand cost me just a few bucks, silent, strong and small. Hardly hear the sound. Same size as my handphone set.

How long have you been using? How many outlet and where did you get it from?

Do note that this sort of low end pump brand comes and go depends on the marketing and imports.

I recently bought a sera air 275 r and am very impressed. As quiet as an eheim and half the price.

Nowadays pump are supposed to be silent. If they create irritating noise, they are lousy.
