Yours is a mixture of both, hump not too big. Still acceptable for my taste.
Hinting something? So can fight with China and Thai or not?
No chance.

Why not you buy one kwat kwat Thai or China oranda and I use my lousy self-bred oranda and we compete for next year's competition.
An oranda must look like an oranda. A Ryukin must look like a Ryukin. Yours is a Orankin. How to compete? It will defeat the purpose liao.

I am not into Oranda or Ryukin so I can't judge on this new strain that Bro Lim has created.

usually with a new strain (cross bred) formed, it has its own special characteristics that inherit from both parentage genes, hopefully it inherit both good genes from it parent and thus it will be an unique special fish.

And my senses are that if the new strain is ever going to compete during competition it shall be judge as a new guidelines rather than based on either one of ts parentage's existing guideline as score-chart.

One example is the discus high fin. Should a discus blue diamond high fin be used to compete together with a blue diamond (triangular shaped) or a standard type of blue diamond? To me although it is categorized as a blue diamond family but in actual fact it is hard to judge especially the shape is different.

It take me quite a while to get use and appreciate high fin discus especially I am used to the traditional and having idea that a good discus must be round type. Thus, I can understand Bro backslash on his preference to traditional oranda.

Bro Lim, it is indeed a ground breaking news that you have manage to get a stable new strains by combining the 2 goldfishes. Well-Done. Hopefully in near future, this new strain (best you give it a name) can be compete as it own catergories and judging score chart, that would definitely be a recognised-work!!

Cheers
