Hi All,
Anyone attach this "kopi bag" @ the water outlet just before flowing into the OHF/Stackable Filter.
I was thinking to trap all poo/dirt before it reach the filter chamber.
Does it still cultivate bacteria growth.

Hope you are can understand my method. Thank you.

A simple and effective method to remove waste regularly

It is the same logic as having filter wool before the bio media. Do note that this way of doing will need constant maintence due to choking and overflowing, and would slow down the flow rate if delay doing so.

Hi LLC, thank you for the advise on the choking & overflow.

Just my thought to "replace" the foam/wool with this bag so that OHF box will be cleaner. Just filter media in the OHF box.

Is better you put at the end of filter in view of its very fine pores.

just a pipe bringing water back to tank.. no rainbar

the water flow will create some bubbles and my fishes actually like playing around it..

i have a "kopi" bag that i use to wash boon.. and i tried holding it at the inlet.. water will overflow.. so i think most likely the same with the sock

The more fine the filtration the easier to get choke and water would overflow and you need to maintain more often.
