Ryukin Butterfly...

Post by thriviazy » Sun May 25, 2008 4:26 pm

Hi my bros & sis,
Just wanna check on wat u guys think of a ryukin butterfly... recently, when i was getting my new baby sakura ryukin, i stumbled upon another sakura ryukin with kind of like a butterfly tail..

Tempted to get that too but was in doubt. i mean, i've never heard of a ryukin butterfly and maybe it could be a defected ryukin so decided not to get it...

But when i went to another lfs, i've found another ryukin with an even nicer butterfly tail...

wat do guys think?

Some Ryukin butterfly are nice, they are not defect. It's hard to find one not to mention a nice one in Sg. Here is one I saw recently:-

thriviazy,
Probably you have found a gem, seldom see a ryukin with such spreadout tail set. Keep it in little current setup to maintain the tail.

as it is still a baby, i currently placed it in a guppy tank. in a hope of keeping the tail well, i purposely kept the water level very low and with very little current.. hope i can groom this baby to be something special... really need the advices frm the bros & sis...
