The color is indeed nice. It is a sakura, right? :)

Very nice little Demekin!

Sakura should be a clear red and white with no reflective scales but still have metallic gillplates. Also more red then white is preferred at young age. If you can get a breeding pair of these i would get those, maybe breed towards butterfly or tosa tail.

Very good find!

Was surfing the web and accidentally came across a u-tube.

From the clip, i spotted an unique while head, full red body dragon-eye.

One unique pattern. By the way, it is from a western owner. Who said western countries don't get great goldfish.........smile

I posted in one of the thread moment ago, but will reiterate my writing here:

"In the early years of my goldfish keeping, i tend to seek out the "perfect" goldfish!  Perhaps due to work load and regular traveling, nowadays, i tend to pick up goldfish from the left over tank in the fish shop, i wouldn't want to waste a good fish under my "bad" caring.  As time goes by, i am beginning to enjoy keeping them and see how they grow despite minimum care and groom."

About 6 months ago, i pick up two left over panda goldfish in the fish shop, all those with nice colour pattern of the panda, good body shape and fin were taken.......for weeks, leaving the two blackie around.  So i decided to bag it home.

There are many post in this Fynnmood forum that talks about how to maintain the colour of the panda and also how to enhance the black.  In this post, i have to highlight that i do nothing of those, i simply bought two panda and throw it into a tub at the back of my house.

Very interestingly, one of the panda starts to develop white after maintain its black for some time.

And the second panda still holding its black.

If there is any "grooming skill" conclusion draw out from this keeping, it is that "genetic of the fish" plays an important role of the fish development.  Same environment, same feeding, same caring.........

Hope you enjoy the post!...........
