OK, back to your question... ...
Demenkin are dragon eye with high hump. Best appreciate from side-view. Usually short tail. Demekin is not difficult to keep, good to keep the same variety together, because like all protruding eyes goldfish, they are slow food finder.
Butterfly is best appreciated from the top, as mentioned by LLC, keep them as though you are keeping tosakin. Butterfly also means long tail, so it is good to have a body that balance with the tail.
LLC, you are right......balancing is most important to me......heheheee.....
pic 2, not much of a buffterfly tail, better for side view.
pic 1, although it can be consider as a butterfly, i guess it has soft ray, that means the bufferfly tail will not 'hold' (weak tail) when the fish swims.
Yes, i learned from many, for that, i can only be a student.HNLim wrote: You are more humble. You learn from a grand master but I learn from myself. You have hundreds of years of knowledge and wisdom, but mine only a few years of cock-ups and disasters.
You learned from yourself and if your few years of experience come in path with the long history knowledge of the old Chinese master ... ... ... .................
shortest time to achieve similar success, putting all these titles aside, i would say you have achieved some thing that not many have.
